First of all, I use Odoo 10.0-20170815-1 (Community Edition) with Ubuntu 14.04.5 on an Amazon AWS server.
After installing wkhtmltopdf (doesn't even matter which version, I tried 0.12.1; 0.12.2 and 0.12.4 with patched qt and got the same results with each version) on the server, the layout isn't what it's supposed to be. I get this:
At first, my thought was that I should install an extra external third party module like "Professional Report Templates", which takes care of the layout, found on https://www.odoo.com/apps/modules/10.0/bi_professional_reports_templates/
Or I even bought another module, also called "Professional Report Templates", found on https://www.odoo.com/apps/modules/10.0/professional_templates/
Now after trying (and succeeding) to install the first module, the result was kind of the same, but this some parts colored.
When I try the bought module, I again get the first option, but with some additional things, like the amount in words.
(I'd place images, but new users can only put in one image per post apperently.)
To install the external modules I do this:
- cd /opt/bitnami/apps/odoo/lib/odoo-10.0.post20170815-py2.7.egg/odoo
sudo chmod 777 addons/
I use WinSCP to paste the extracted module (let's say "professional_templates") into addons/
- sudo chmod -R 777 professional_templates/
- sudo chown -R daemon:daemon professional_templates/
- cd ..
- sudo chmod 755 addons/
(If there are any dependecies, I also install them of course)
- Then I obviously go to my server, update the apps list and install the module.
Does anyone have an idea where this problem could be coming from?
Thanks in advance.
