I’m a bit new to bitnami so bear with me please. I have installed Django Stack 1.11.7-0 on a USB drive with Win10, everything seems to work fine.I have the same issue as https://community.bitnami.com/t/can-i-change-location-of-bitnami-djangostack-projects/21086 so I reinstalled it using NTFS. I also want to have the project folder on the USB drive, and I have 'BitNami DjangoStack projects' folder placed on the C drive. But now I can’t change django.wsgi because I don’t have it.In apps/django/conf I have: -certs-django.confI don't know if django.wsgi should be created in the installation or if I should make it (if so, what I have to put?)Thanks in advance,Carlos(sorry for my English)
I am afraid that I did not fully understand the issue. Could you please provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue? Did you install everything in the USB stick?

I installed the The Bitnami Django Stack (Django 1.11.7-0 Windows version) on a USB drive (I uninstalled python for that and formatted the USB drive in NTFS for PosgreSQL). Now I have the files in G:\mysite.I access to the sample project at http://127.0.0.1/carlos. I want to modify the sample project folder path which is placed on C:\Users\User\Bitnami Django Stack projects\. I want to set the default project path on the G: drive like everything else. I have read that the DjangoStack projects folder can be changed by modifying Django.wsgi in apps\django\conf\django.wsgi , but in G:\mysite\apps\django\conf I only have one file: Django.conf and a folder (certs). My solution for that was to change the project paths in apache2\conf\bitnami\bitnami-apps-prefix.conf , conf\httpd-prefix.conf , conf\httpd-app.conf and \project\wsgi.pyNow the sample project seems to work from the USB drive as I wanted (maybe there are more configuration files that point to C drive), but I still wonder why django.wsgi isn’t in apps\django\conf\ Thanks in advance,Carlos
C:\Users\User\Bitnami Django Stack projects\.
conf\httpd-app.conf and \project\wsgi.py
I checked our stack and I do not find any reference to this django.wsgi file. Could you let us know where you saw that reference to this file?
BTW, I am glad that the project is working now
Javier thank you very much for your answers. I found in https://bitnami.com/stack/django/djangostack.pdf that django.wsgi should be in apps\django\Scripts and in https://community.bitnami.com/t/can-i-change-location-of-bitnami-djangostack-projects/21086/2? something about being in apps\django\conf. I have realised thatdjango.wsgi may have the same functionality as wsgi.py
I am still wondering if changing the paths in those files (apache2\conf\bitnami\bitnami-apps-prefix.conf , conf\httpd-prefix.conf , conf\httpd-app.conf and \project\wsgi.py) is the only way for changing the project path.
apache2\conf\bitnami\bitnami-apps-prefix.conf , conf\httpd-prefix.conf , conf\httpd-app.conf and \project\wsgi.py
That guide you found is outdated. Note that it is for Django 1. Our current Django documentation is here:
Hope it helps.
OK. Thank you for your help!I hope I'll find how to change the projects path in an easier way.Bitnami Django Stack is great anyway. I spent weeks setting up a django application and I had lots of problems implementing it with Apache in Windows. This is the definitely solution for every web project! Its very helpful.Thank you bitnami Developers
Thank you for your kind words! If you have any other issues, please do not hesitate to write
