You are right, that file seems to be missing a wrapper file (as we configure for other binaries like
mysqldump). First of all, thanks a lot for reporting it.
As a workaround, you can follow these steps:
- Change the working directory to the mysql bin directory:
- Rename the original
sudo mv mysqlbinlog mysqlbinlog.bin
- Configure the wrapper to be used (there is a generic one called
ln -s wrapper mysqlbinlog
- Execute the
mysqlbinlog with the
--no-defaults option, e.g.:
sudo mysqlbinlog --no-defaults /opt/bitnami/mysql/data/binlog.000001
