I ran out of disk space. So I added 10GB, but it still won’t restart MySQL.

Here is the code to the uploaded support bundle:

Hello @doug2,

I can see you have available storage.

You got [ERROR] InnoDB: Unable to lock ./ibdata1 error: 11, that may be due to that you have a different MySQL instance running. In order to solve this you can execute:

lsof -i:3306

Then kill it (the process number)

kill -9 PROCESS
e.g. kill -9 13498

or also

sudo /opt/bitnami/ stop mysql
sudo pkill -f mysql
sudo /opt/bitnami/ start mysql

In case it does not work, you can find here a list of possible causes:

Here’s what I get.

doug@wordpress-1-vm:~$ sudo /opt/bitnami/ stop mysql
Unmonitored mysql
/opt/bitnami/mysql/scripts/ : mysql not running
doug@wordpress-1-vm:~$ sudo pkill -f mysql
doug@wordpress-1-vm:~$ sudo /opt/bitnami/ start mysql
/opt/bitnami/mysql/scripts/ : mysql could not be started
Monitored mysql

All I can imagine is that the data file is corrupt. Can you confirm? If that’s the case, how do I fix that?

Hi @doug2,

It could be, but we don’t have access to that file. Have you taken a look at the possible causes of this error in the link I shared with you? It seems that Duplicate process and Lack of disk space are not the reason.
