Unfortunately we're still not able to reproduce this issue with Bitnami Redmine 4.0.2-2 OVA.
It seems like you can reproduce this issue multiple times. Could you try one more time? If you get the same issue, could you describe your machine? (e.g.: dual-core 2 GHz CPU, 8GB ram, VirtualBox 5.2.22 hypervisor, 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04 OS)
I can not login with default "bitnami_credentials"
Once MySQL is running, enter with:
mysql -u root -pPASSWORD bitnami_redmine
(where PASSWORD is the password shown in the ~/bitnami_credentials file)
What happens when you restart the VM? Can you then start MySQL afterwards? And can you stop it once running?
