Keywords: LAMP/MAMP/WAMP - Windows - Technical issue - Upgrade
I've minimal knowledge working with Bitnami and only know the basics of installing it, creating a database via phpmyadmin, uploading my Wordpress files and working on it. Please do bear with me.
I've been running wampstack-5.6.26-2 and chose to upgrade to wampstack-7.1.13-1 on Windows 10.
I knew I had to backup my mysql data, so I copied the "data" folder as well as the "htdocs" folder.
After which I uninstalled my older version and installed the new. Once that was done, I copied the mysql data folder and htdocs folder back to their respective locations in the new wampstack-7.1.13-1 folder.
This was where I encountered my problem. When I tried to work on 1 of my Wordpress sites, it showed me the installation step - which I knowt shouldn't be there.
When I launched my phpmyadmin and clicked on the database, I noticed it saying "No tables founds in database". To make it more confusing, when I uncollapsed the database structure, I could in fact see the tables listed in the sidebar. However, when I clicked on the tables I get the following error; #1146 - Table 'maleco_wp.2018maleco_commentmeta' doesn't exist
I do not know what the error means, and how can I go about fixing this.
I really need a solution because this happened on a number of recent Wordpress installations which I've been working on. (T_T)
