Keywords: MySQL - AWS - Technical issue - Permissions
I've launched an AWS Bitnami instance and mysql log files are growing. As per this thread, https://community.bitnami.com/t/something-taking-up-space-and-growing/64532/7 my problem is a log file. However, I have a permissions issue, I cannot access, /opt/bitnami/mysql as I have a permissions issue at mysql/.
That said, I don't want to arbitrarily change the permissions of the directory - as then the system may not be able to use it again. But with out modifying permissions I cannot access the directory. Can you help me know how to access the dir and restore system access to the dir later?
My purpose is to add the 7 day flush of the logs. Thanks!
