Description:
I have a LAMP bitnami instance running on Lightsail, but suddenly it’s down. When I reboot the instance it’s up for only a few minutes, are there any troubleshooting steps I should take? All the Lightsail instance status checks look fine.

Hello @eibt,

I can see apache is not running. Could you try to start it by executing the command below?

sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh start apache

Apart from that, I only can see some errors regarding Pagespeed. Pagespeed can cause this issue sometimes. Can you try flushing the cache?

https://docs.bitnami.com/general/infrastructure/lamp/administration/use-pagespeed/#flush-the-pagespeed-cache

If that doesn’t work, can you try disabling it entirely?

https://docs.bitnami.com/general/infrastructure/lamp/administration/use-pagespeed/#disable-pagespeed

I hope it helps

Hi David, thank you very much for your help. This is what I get when I try to restart Apache:

Syntax OK
/opt/bitnami/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd could not be started
Monitored apache

Hello @eibt,

The problem seems to be that /opt/bitnami/letsencrypt/certificates/jumpXXX.com.crt and /opt/bitnami/letsencrypt/certificates/jumpXXX.com.key does not exist.

lrwxrwxrwx  1 root    root     55 Apr 15 20:25 jumpXXX.com.crt -> /opt/bitnami/letsencrypt/certificates/jumpXXX.com.crt
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root    root     55 Apr 15 20:25 jumpXXX.com.key -> /opt/bitnami/letsencrypt/certificates/jumpXXX.com.key

You can verify it by running ls -larth /opt/bitnami/letsencrypt/certificates.

I hope it helps
