Hi,We are trying to use some Odoo modules (Human Resources, recruitment, Accounting)Although we assign permissions, we are unable to create or work collaboratively with other users.Access Errors: res.partner, Operation: readFor example: I can not create clientsOnly the Admin user can work completely. We access through a package powered by Bitnami and hosted in Amazon web services.
I would appreciate a response.Thanks!
Could you tell us the exact steps you are trying so we can reproduce the issue? How are you creating users? How are you assign permissions to them? What operations are you trying to do with those users?
Hi davidg,The admin created the users from Configuration - UsersWe disable portal optionFor example I have "Create Contact" anable and this permission:Ventas: ResponsableProyecto: ResponsableConocimiento: UserAlmacén: ResponsableContabilidad y finanzas: Gestor financieroCompras: ResponsableRecursos humanos: ResponsableHerramientas extra: ManagerMarketing: ResponsableSitio web: Gestionar el sitio web y vistas qWebGamificación: ResponsableSoporte en vivo: ResponsableCompartiendo: UsuarioAdministración: Configuración
When I Create a Client get the error:AccessErrorLa operación no ha podido ser completada por restricciones de seguridad. Por favor contacte con su administrador de sistema.(Tipo de documento: res.partner, Operación: read)
I was able to reproduce the issue. It seems that the portal and public user have some limited rights on some of the objects. I created an user disabling Portal and Public checkbox and it worked for me.
I hope it helps.
Hi David,It worked for me. I will check with the other users.Thank you!!!!
We're glad you were able to solve it. Please don't hesitate to write back if you find any other issue.
Hi,I have a new problem in Odoo 8.5In Odoo recruiting, you can add an email to receive the mails for a position. We set the mail and when we send to the address, it is expected that the application will automatically attach to the position. That does not happen.I would like to attache the screens,Thanks
If you want to attach a screenshot to the thread, you just need to drag and drop them into the reply's textbox.
Have you checked if this happens with other installations of Odoo? You could try to ask this in their support forums, probably they will have an idea of what's happening.
Hi ,Attached the screenshot with the issue before.
This seems to be a very specific issue related to the Odoo application itself, and not Bitnami.Could you post in their forums to see if they know how to fix it? For instance, this issue seems to be very similar: https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/question/access-rules-in-odoo-8-85961
Hi,The problem is that the mail functionality does not work between Odoo and Bitnami
Did you configure Odoo with the email settings as specified here?: https://wiki.bitnami.com/Applications/Bitnami_Odoo#How_to_configure_the_email_settings_of_Odoo.3f
Or did you use the installer to install Odoo, where you configured the e-mail settings? We recomment using SMTP, with that you should not have many issues. If you are using SMTP, you probably did not configure the MX settings for your domain properly.
hi @arecio @lamadei
I have created and installed new module in Odoo Bitnami. I can see this module when i am using the Admin account, but when i have created other account i can't see this module in the menu.
I have also created access right to this module, and i have added it to other users access.
My question is how i can allow other users to see this module. Thank you so much.
Just to clarify, are you installing your own module, right?
The module works fine with the Admin user, but other users cannot see it, right?
Best regards,Silvio Fernández
