I have Mediawiki server created as a cloud and on premise. Neither version is rendering PHP code. Even the simplest PHP code displays on the page as the code itself and not the results. Does anyone know why and how to fix? I posted to a general forum and someone said that PHP was not running. Maybe but hard to believe if I stood it up in the cloud. I would have thought that bitnami would have configured everything automatically.
Yeah, that would be most people's first reaction. Your PHP isn't running, or the configuration has problems. You can test your PHP environment and send the results to your service provider.
You can check if PHP is working fine creating a phpinfo.php file at installdir/apache2/htdocs with the following lines
That file will show you all the configuration of PHP if you access to http://YOUR_IP/phpinfo.php
Please note that if you are deploying your own php code, your files may be cached by the server and even you modify them your changes will not appear to be applied. You can disable cache following the link below:
