MariaDB with Replication on GCP - How to take automated backups

We have a MariaDB with Replication setup on GCP. Need to take automated backups of the data in the master database for which we need the best possible way out according to this community.

We did enable automated schedules in GCP but recovery process is quite difficult.

Hi @sushantpuri,

Thanks for using Bitnami. Would creating a database backup using the mysqldump tool work for you?

Note you can also compress the generated .sql file and move it to a different place to keep the backup safe.
