I was upgrading parse-server as mentioned in https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/apps/parse/administration/upgrade/. Since package.json was empty I wget it as mentioned in @ https://community.bitnami.com/t/attempt-to-upgrade-aws-parse-server-from-parse-2-6-1-to-current-ending-in-package-json-error/56546/2.
Every step worked well till npm install parse-server parse-dashboard.
Error occured at below step
../bnconfig --machine_hostname 1x.xxx.xxx.111
Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly
Error running /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart parse: child process exited abnormally
hostname is the public IP from AWS EC2 console which I use to connect to bitnami from mac terminal and open parse dashboard.
Now, I am unable to start the sever
/opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart parse
/opt/bitnami/apps/parse/scripts/ctl.sh : parse not running
warn: --minUptime not set. Defaulting to: 1000ms
warn: --spinSleepTime not set. Your script will exit if it does not stay up for at least 1000ms
info: Forever processing file: server.js
/opt/bitnami/apps/parse/scripts/ctl.sh : parse could not be started
I checked parse-server and parse-dashboard version using below command which shows I have the latest version of both.
npm list | grep parse-server
npm list | grep parse-dashboard
I tried upgrading parse again but of no use. Please look into this as I don't know what else should I do to make server running.
both ../bnconfig and ctlscript.sh commands failing.
