I want to migrate my site from AWS to another host, I have access to the email associated with my WP account but not the password for it. When I try to do reset password I'm met with:
"The email could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function."
I found an SSH command that should allow me to reset the password, but I'm met with this:
mysql -u root -p bitnami_wordpress -e "UPDATE wp_users SET user_pass=MD5('NEWPASSWORD') WHERE ID='1';"
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: N O)
I'm not sure what that password should be, I assume the password that is annoyingly only displayed once at the start and then becomes inaccessible.
Is there any way for me to recover this WP install so I can migrate it easily using a plugin?
