As you are upgrading from one version to a new major one, could you please verify that the plugins you have in the old installation are compatible with the new version of Redmine? You will probably need to disable or update some of them.
Apart from that, could you please let us know the changes you made in the default old installation?
Bitnami packages and configures already existing applications. We can only offer support and help on basic and most frequent application configurations. Always based on the default configuration or on our guides.
If the issue is related to the application itself, probably someone with more experience and knowledge about that specific tool can help you better than we can. We also suggest you to post your question on the official support forums of the application so others can help you with your issue.
