I have tried to resolve this issue without success.

The server responds to any domain that has the IP set to the server. As an example, assuming the server ip is and I point www.domain1.com www.domain2.com www.domain3.com to, the server responds and displays the website for all the domains, not only that, the site also loads when just using the IP With the IP some sort of redirect will need to be configured.

For the vHost configuration I used this as a guide

Any Ideas? I need to lockdown the server to only work on my domain name/s

I tried this also. Made no difference.

Configure The WordPress Domain Name

I have since done the following

added the following to /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami-apps-vhosts.conf

Include “/opt/bitnami/apps/firstapplication/conf/httpd-vhosts.conf”

and removed the below from /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami-apps-prefix.conf

Include “/opt/bitnami/apps/firstapplication/conf/httpd-prefix.conf”

updated the vHost config here with mydomain name

THe site now only displays when I access the correct domain, however, all other domains respond with

Awesome! WordPress is now installed.
