I had some problem in the Liferay document preview so I decided to install imageMagick as recommended in the Liferay forums. Unfortunately I can't get it to work. If I enable imageMagick the preview is not generated at all. If I don't enable it, I do get a preview but some characters are not displayed properly.
What I did: I installed imageMagick by running:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install imagemagick
Installation completed without error however I'm not sure where it actually installed. I can't find anything under /opt/bitnami or /opt/bitnami/apps.
When I configure imageMagick in Liferay I have to provide paths. I had to change the default from
because there was nothing in /usr/local
Actually /usr/share/fonts/urw-fonts doesn't exist either.
What's supposed to be in this directory? How can I get it? Could it be the reason why I get no preview at all when imageMagick is activated?
Thanks in advance.
