Hi (and happy new year...),
Towards the back end of last year I started a thread because my certificates weren't renewing automatically. I failed to respond to the responses before the topic was closed, partly because of the time of the year and partly because I'd manually renewed the certificates.
Since then I've rebuilt my server on a new hosting platform and in the process I've found the new letsencrypt script which I've used and which worked very well for me.
I discovered that the script also sets up all of the renew facilities which is great. I also read up elsewhere on this site about adding new domain names as the site grows, so overall I'm quite happy, however... I've noticed that my cron job (which still only shows under sudo crontab -l and not under my user account) has changed significantly from this at the end of last year on the old platform:
0 0 1 * * /etc/lego/renew-certificate.sh 2> /dev/null
0 0 1 * * /opt/bitnami/letsencrypt/lego --path="/opt/bitnami/letsencrypt" --email="********@gmail.com" --domains=*****server.uk --domains=www.*****server.uk renew && /opt/bitnami/apache2/bin/httpd -f /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/httpd.conf -k graceful
Can anyone confirm that this is as it should be and that I haven't somehow introduced extra code here please. And, can you confirm that when adding new domains it is now necessary to update both the renew-certificates.sh file and the cron file?
