I am currently running lampstack-5.4.34-0-linux (64-bit) on RHEL 5u11 and things are running fine.
I downloaded lampstack-5.6.30-2-linux (64-bit) to install on the same system (in different directory). The primary reason for this is to upgrade the PHP version due to failed security scans on PHP v.5.4.36.
When I attempt to run the installer as non-root, I get
Error: There has been an error.
The installer is unable to detect your glibcxx version. You can find how to proceed at https://docs.bitnami.com/installer/linux-faq/#what-is-the-minimum-version-of-libstdc-needed-for-bitnami-stacks.
Please ensure that you have the minimun version required "3.4.9" before proceeding.
So I checked the reported version of GLIBCXX
$ strings /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 | grep LIBCXX
$ rpm -qa | grep libstdc++
However, I am not root on this server and cannot update the version of libstdc++ as suggested on the Bitnami Linux FAQ.
So my question are these:
1. what is the latest version of bitnami-lampstack that is supported by GLIBCXX_3.4.8?
2. what is the download location of that version?
