PHP and Apache environment is correctly set:
However, the Openssl section is not pointing to the right Default Config file:
You can find the reason in this thread:
As @kaysa mentioned:
Unfortunately adding the OPENSSL_CONF variable can break other programs already installed in the machine because we will configuring a global setting that can affect their configuration.
However, you can define the OPENSSL_CONF environment variable pointing to
C:\Bitnami\suitecrm-7.10.0-0/apache2/conf/openssl.cnf and the php functions will use that path.
The current available rule is:
RewriteRule ^api/(.*?)$ lib/SuiteCRM/API/public/index.php/$1 [L]
As you mentioned, it must be changed to:
RewriteRule ^api/(.*?)$ lib/API/public/index.php/$1 [L]
Thanks for reporting it. We have included it in our backlog. As the impact of the issue is moderate, there are no immediate plans to work on it. Nevertheless it will be considered for future application versions.
In the meantime you can use the workaround you provided.
We will update this thread as soon as we have more news.
