How To Auto-Configure A Let's Encrypt Certificate In Your Stack?
Bitnami already includes a small tool that takes care of generating a valid certificate using Let's Encrypt and the provided information and configures the web server to use it. That tool uses lego to run the Let's Encrypt certificate generation commands. You can find the script inside the /opt/bitnami/letsencrypt/ folder.
This tool does not work. I entered the command below
sudo /opt/bitnami/letsencrypt/scripts/generate-certificate.sh -m YOURMAIL -d YOURDOMAIN
For resolution purposes, I did not change "YOURMAIL" or "YOURDOMAIN" to show what the output is of this command.
Here is the output
This tool will now stop the web server and configure the required SSL certificate. It will also start it again once
It will create a certificate for the domain "YOURMAIL" under the email "YOURMAIL". Do you want to continue? [y/n]
As you can see, it shows YOURMAIL twice. It does not appropriately link yourmail and yourdomain.
