Instance CPU UTILIZATION is very high

Hi,

I created a new instance yesterday and today I am experiencing the CPU utilization as very high.

Whenever that happens I am unable to connect via SSH and my website stops. I then have to manually restart my instance. How can I prevent my instance from high utilization?

Hi,
did you check the logs on server?
what site you put inside?
The CPU can experiencing high utilization from some wrong scripts, wrong loops...and more more more other....

Your website have any issue under other provider or on local?

Something is wrong with my instance as it goes down within 5 mins after restarting everytime.

The bnsupport tool found issues running on your server (probably due to missing free disk space or low resources).

Can you run the next commands on your server and send us the output?

uptime
free -m
df -h
tail /opt/bitnami/apache2/logs/error_log
ps aux | grep -i bitnami

We also recommend you to try with a bigger instance. That should helps you to start the services and better debug what is the real issue with your server and site

Hi @huzanforbes,

Thanks for sharing the output. According to it, your server is running out of free memory. Can you use a bigger instance? Note your server is using swap now, which is a symptom of having not enough memory available
