Installing SSL on WAMP Intranet

Hi,

I’m trying to install an SSL certificate on an intranet WAMP stack by following the instructions at Create an SSL certificate for Apache. As it’s an intranet there is not a FQDN.

After installing I could not restart Apache and the following error is in the log,
AH02565: Certificate and private key localhost:443

Hi @davidkp01,

It’s possible to configure a Let’s Encrypt certificate on an intranet website but only if the DNS name is valid. This issue exceeds the scope of this forum but I found the more information that can help you on the way:
