Keywords: Apache Solr - Linux - Technical issue - Secure Connections (SSL/HTTPS)
Description:
Attempting to install an SSL cert for a new client so that their website and use HTTPS. The website and infrastructure was setup by the clients previous provider and is running Bitnami Stack on a Linux VM in Azure. Everything is working correctly, however, the website was never setup with HTTPS as far as I'm aware. The client now would like HTTPS so we created the csr and obtained an SSL, however when attempting to install the SSL cert I am required to modify the Bitnami.conf file to ensure it's looking at the correct cert etc. (I have been following a guide online for this as I am not overly familiar with Bitnami myself), however, I cannot locate the bitnami.conf file, it does not appear to exist in the locations mentioned (/opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf) in all or most guides and articles I have found online https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/infrastructure/solr/administration/enable-https-ssl-apache/
I've tried searching for this issue but I've come to a dead end unfortunately. I don't want to go messing with the setup too much as I don't have enough knowledge so seeking expert advice
Would anyone have any idea why the conf file would not be present or where exactly it may be? Any help on this is much appreciated,
Thanks in advance!
Chris
