Only use sudo if the stack was installed as root
sudo npm -g install express
sudo npm -g install express-generator
I think that is wrong, you have a sudo command for windows?

BTW, thank you for making these stacks available. In my case, using WAMP is a really nice convenience as I have to work on a Windows desktop. In the case of node, I am a beginner. If someone said, setup a lamp stack on a virtualbox instance for node, you will find it a lot easier, I would be happy.
