Install exo in local VM server (linux)

hi, I am installing bitnami exoplatform in my local vm server(LINUX) with this installer bitnami-exoplatform-4.3.0-9-linux-x64-installer.run. it is successfuly installed without prompt any error. but after im starting the server using ./ctlscript.sh start, it is showing that apache tomcat is running… but it is not prompt the exo portal. can anybody help and guide me on this? thanks in advance!

Hi @e_ja0309

If you have installed the exoplatform without superuser privileges the port in wich apache is listening is 8080 instead of 80. If you do sudo netstat -plnt you should see something like this:
tcp6 0 0 :::8080 :::* LISTEN 4412/httpd.bin

Next, if you want to access from your browser to the exoplatform server you should open the port 8080 to allow external access. Once you do that, you should be able to access to:
http://you-ip:8080/portal/

I hope this information is useful for you. If you have any other question, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Thank you and best regards,
David Barranco.
