Description:
Hello Im new to Bitnami
I imported an Alfresco virtual machine to virtualbox but it’s not working when I try to log in in alfresco I get the error
Your authentication details haven’t been recognized or Alfresco Content Services may not be available at this time.

I tried ‘admin’ as username and the password generated by the vm , I just download the vm so It’s the last version, did I miss something?

Up? no one? Can anyone help please ?
I have no idea why It’s not working ?

Hi @Mehdielaissi, run the following command inside the Bitnami Alfresco Virtual Machine image:

cat /home/bitnami/bitnami_credentials

It should include both the username and the password for the Alfresco instance. Read more on how to get your credentials here: https://docs.bitnami.com/virtual-machine/apps/alfresco/get-started/first-steps/

Hope it helps!

Download the last Alfresco VM
Import it in VirtualBox
Accees IP,
can’t Login , credentials not Working!

Hi @Mehdielaissi,

I don’t be able to reproduce the issue.
Could you tell us what version of VirtualBox are you using? I assume of the applications it’s the last one.
If you can access to the VM, we have a Support Tool that will gather relevant information for us to analyze your configuration and logs. Could you please execute it on the machine where the stack is running by following the steps described in the guide below?

How to Run the Bitnami Support Tool

Please note that you need to paste the code ID that is shown at the end.

Hi @Mehdielaissi,

Could you try with this documentation of Alfresco https://docs.alfresco.com/community/concepts/admin-password.html?

I hope that helps you.

Hello @Ibone I hope you are well, thank you for your answer

I wanted to try this solution on your link
SELECT anp1.node_id,
anp1.qname_id,
anp1.string_value
FROM alf_node_properties anp1
INNER JOIN alf_qname aq1 ON aq1.id = anp1.qname_id
INNER JOIN alf_node_properties anp2 ON anp2.node_id = anp1.node_id
INNER JOIN alf_qname aq2 ON aq2.id = anp2.qname_id
WHERE aq1.local_name = ‘password’
AND aq2.local_name = ‘username’
AND anp2.string_value = ‘admin’

But where I have to put this code? because in my terminal It’s not working

I tried to access via ssh and copy past the password and It’s not working, I tried to get to mysql so I can create a user and give it admin privilege but It’s not accessing
bitnami@debian:~$ sudo su
root@debian:/home/bitnami# mysql
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@‘localhost’ (using password: NO)
root@debian:/home/bitnami# sudo mysql
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@‘localhost’ (using password: NO)
root@debian:/home/bitnami#

Hi @Mehdielaissi,

could you try to start a new Alfresco?

If you want to access to MySQL you can follow this guide https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/apps/alfresco/get-started/connect-mysql/

Ibone

Hello @Ibone thank you for you answer I want to add a user and give it admin privilege but what is the table where the users are stored ?
mysql>

@Ibone I followed your link https://docs.alfresco.com/community/concepts/admin-password.html#admin-password__md4

I tried to change the admin password using this code:
SELECT anp1.node_id,
-> anp1.qname_id,
-> anp1.string_value
-> FROM alf_node_properties anp1
-> INNER JOIN alf_qname aq1 ON aq1.id = anp1.qname_id
-> INNER JOIN alf_node_properties anp2 ON anp2.node_id = anp1.node_id

    ->    INNER JOIN alf_qname aq2 ON aq2.id = anp2.qname_id

    -> WHERE aq1.local_name = 'password'
    -> AND aq2.local_name = 'username'
    -> AND anp2.string_value = 'admin';

I get

 | node_id | qname_id | string_value                     |
+---------+----------+----------------------------------+
|       4 |       10 | acbe137e6dc940c37226fd60eaf5c982 |

After I updated my admin password with this:
acbe137e6dc940c37226fd60eaf5c982 is the new password I want hashed using MD4
UPDATE alf_node_properties
-> SET string_value=‘acbe137e6dc940c37226fd60eaf5c982’
-> WHERE
-> node_id=4
-> and
-> qname_id=10;

But when I trie to login It’s not working again!

Hi @Mehdielaissi,

Did you check to your Alfresco had configured MD4?
I think this configuration it’s fined in config\alfresco\bootstrap\alfrescoUserStore.xml

Ibone
