Import fails with "Cannot create a SenderAddress with an invalid mailer URL." error

Keywords: Akeneo - Google Cloud Platform - Technical issue - Other
Description:
Whenever I run import job, it finishes with “Cannot create a SenderAddress with an invalid mailer URL.” error. Import is successful though.
Is there a missing configuration I should do?

Please note that you need to paste the code ID that is shown at the end.

I didn’t change any configuration except import folder permission to fix import.

Same problem Export products in Fresh install.
Virtual box, bitnami, Akeneo 5.07.

Errormessage, nevertheless the provided .xlsx contains product info.

Hi @marco_van_Rijn,

It seems the application is trying to send an email after a successful import. I think it’s necessary to set up SMTP for the final step to work.

As the link says, I changed the MAILER_URL and now import and export finishes successfully.
Note: I don’t want to send any email after import, so I didn’t change the username and password.

Thanks @michiel

I made the change in .env file.
The message does not appear anymore.
(but i don’t receive a mail, but no problem for now. Just a demo/test environment).

Thanks and regards,
Marco
