I understand that you want to increase the max_connections parameter in MySQL, right? You can do so by using a command line editor (nano, vim or emacs for example)
sudo nano /opt/bitnami/mysql/my.cnf
You will need to set the max_connections parameter under the [mysqld] section. Once you finish with that, you will need to restart the MySQL server
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart mysql
Then you can connect to MySQL and check the value of the parameter with this command
SHOW VARIABLES LIKE "max_connections";
Happy to help!
