Description:
I edited my php.ini and restarted, but the new max upload is not reflected in the Moodle application. I would like the max upload to be 1 gig. I have this code from your support tool: 6feec771-ab13-f952-b9cb-059e91714743

Thanks!

Hi @knightlyscribe,

Which services did you restart?

Could you please let us know how to reproduce this issue? How are you checking that the value is not modified?

Thanks

Hi Jota,

Thank you for your timely response. I’ve included the screenshots of the issue in two more separate replies because I’m able to include only one image per post. Here’s the first:

FYI, I’m rather new at all this. I’m using the Moodle application for the classes that I teach here in Boston, MA - I’m an English professor … which may explain quite a lot…!

Thank you so much!
Lou

I figured it out! I also had to increase the post_max_size (in the php.ini), and it worked.

Hi @knightlyscribe,

I’m happy you got this working! Indeed the PHP values upload_max_filesize and post_max_filesize almost always go hand in hand. Do not doubt to open a new thread in this forum if any new issue arises!
