I am unable to send emails via my website. I have tried different plugins for sending emails, and even tried the Contact form & plugin, but, I get an error saying, "unable to send mail. Is there anything that I should enable on my compute engine to solve that?

Try to use contact form7, it's best plugin for WordPress sites and you can customize it too as per your needs how many options you want.

Hi @echinonso8,

Please note that Google Cloud Platform doesn’t allow SMTP traffic through port 25. You can take a look at these guides where we explain how to configure the SMTP settings in WordPress, how to use another SMTP provider and how to troubleshoot common issues with the SMTP configuration.

Hi @jota, i think I am trying to send inbound email, from a customer to my email address via the website, or is that also outbound?

I have configured the settings accordingly, yet, I am still getting an error, as SMTP host, i had used smtp.gmail.com, saved settings, yet, i am not getting any positive results yet.

Actually, I have a contact form on the wordpress website, so that means, i am receiving mails, not sending. I have tried the settings, not working
