Kindly provide a solution for the same

Hi @geeks9,

The following guide explains how to force HTTPS for ELK:

We have launched aws magento instance using Bitnami so do we need to follow the approach

Approach A: Bitnami Installations Using System Packages

or Approach B

Please confirm

Kind Regards

Hi @geeks9,

You can run the following check to find out:

test ! -f "/opt/bitnami/common/bin/openssl" && echo "Approach A: Using system packages." || echo "Approach B: Self-contained installation."

Hi ,
We are able to locate the path but the code we inside looks different.

Let Apache know we’re behind an SSL reverse proxy

SetEnvIf X-Forwarded-Proto https HTTPS=on

DocumentRoot "/opt/bitnami/apache/htdocs" # BEGIN: Configuration for letsencrypt Include "/opt/bitnami/apps/letsencrypt/conf/httpd-prefix.conf" # END: Configuration for letsencrypt Options Indexes FollowSymLinks AllowOverride All Require all granted

Error Documents

ErrorDocument 503 /503.html

Unable to get the exact solution.

Hi @geeks9,

We have a Support Tool that will gather relevant information for us to analyze your configuration and logs. Could you please execute it on the machine where the stack is running by following the steps described in the guide below?

How to Run the Bitnami Support Tool in a cloud image or virtual machine

Please note that you need to paste the code ID that is shown at the end.

This problem was solved by adding the following code snippet to the beginning of the.htaccess file:

Force HTTPS on all pages

RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !on RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]

Web Hosting UK

Shall we use the same code in our Bitnami Stack

The current code looks like this, should add lines above this code.

Hi @geeks9,

Can you give more details? Has the issue been solved?
