Does your virtual machine have configured a static ip?
We automatically execute the
machine_hostname method of the
bnconfig tool to update the ip address of the machine each time it reboots, just to not to loose the connectivity to the application.
My recommendation here is to change the dynamic ip address of the machine to a static one and execute this command in the machine that has the configuration messed:
sudo /opt/bitnami/apps/prestashop/bnconfig --machine_hostname STATIC_IP_ADDRESS
Note: Don't forget to change the placeholder STATIC_IP_ADDRESS to the new static ip address you have.
This will change all the configuration related to the ip in which prestashop is working. After that you should change your DNS url to point to the right ip and disable the bnconfig just to not to experience any other change. You can disable it performing:
sudo mv /opt/bitnami/apps/prestashop/bnconfig /opt/bitnami/apps/prestashop/disable.bnconfig
You also can do this without a static ip address, but if you experience other reboot you will experience the loose of the connection to the virtual machine.
I really hope it helps, please, do not hesitate on asking us if you don't understand something clearly. We will be more than glad to help you
