Keywords: Django - AWS - How to - Secure Connections (SSL/HTTPS)
I ran bncert-tool, got my SSL cert, and HTTPS is working just fine. Looking over the Postgresql documentation at https://www.postgresql.org/docs/11/libpq-ssl.html#LIBQ-SSL-CERTIFICATES
it looks like verify-full is the most secure method of DB connections. SSL "require" works fine for me but "verify-full" does not I am assuming this is because I'm missing the other options in my Django DB settings.py sections such as SSL root, cert, and key like seen in the following example I found on SO:
What directory do I point these at with the default bncert-tool configuration? I'm not aware of any root.cert?
I haven't seen any docs or forum posts on this so I figured I'd see if this is a common problem other people can't figure out on their own.
