I recently took over administration of a Bitnami WAMP Wordpress site on a Windows 2013 server. First job is to upgrade the year-old stack from 7.1.16. After some trial and error, I was able to get 7.3.10 installed and running today. I restored the Wordpress site and everything is good.
My problem is that you need to access the site through http://[sitename]/wordpress instead of just http://[sitename]. If you go to http://[sitename], it displays the Bitnami landing page. It wasn't like that before I started the upgrade.
I don't recall seeing anything in the Bitnami or WP install process that would have controlled that choice, and neither can I find any setting that can be updated. I've looked at apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-*.php, properties.ini, the Apache config, and likely locations in the MySQL DB. I feel like there's some simple change that could be made but can't identify it.
I've seen another similar post that recommends using the BN Support tool, which I did, but it resulted in an error where it couldn't write "letsencrypt.permissions" to my desktop and apparently nothing else is available.
