Hello guys i was using bitnami odoo virtual machine stack for development... now since i finished the development phase i want to migrate (Deploy) it to another Ubuntu server... how can i accomplish that?
Bitnami stacks are self-contained, so following the steps in this guide should be enough:
Hope it helps.

Hi jsalmeron Thanks for your replay, can i use the bitnami virtual box for deployment in a physical server...In other word can i change it from virtual to physical (v2p)?
As long as you place the stack folder in /opt/bitnami it should be ok. Bear in mind as well that you would need to move it to a 64-bit Linux-based operating system.
No no no... you didn't understand me, i wanted to install the full vm stack including the OS to a physical machine...
i wanted to change it from .vmdk to iso file so that i can install it on a physical machine...
Honestly, that is something that I've never tried. I guess you would have to dd the disk from the VM, and then dd that copy to your physical disk. I cannot guarantee that it would work without issues. Do you have any reason for doing this instead of simply migrating the stack (which is self contained and hence would work in your target Ubuntu server).
