I think I know the problem you are running into. You configured your application in the apps/hosting folder but Apache doesn't know how to make the PHP files public because PHP-FPM is not configured for that application.
If you check the apps/wordpress/conf/httpd-app.conf file, you can see that there is a block of code that configures the connection to PHP-FPM. You can either configure PHP-FPM to deploy your application or change the Apache's configuration to not to use PHP-FPM. In the latter case, you will need to edit the apache2/conf/httpd.conf file and substitute this line
#LoadModule php7_module modules/libphp7.so
with this one
LoadModule php7_module modules/libphp7.so
Then, you will need to restart Apache
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache
