This my first topic. I am hardware application engineer and looking for project management system for our department.
I try to use Redmine about 2 month. Yes It 's funny and there is a lot of knowledge to learn forever.
But at this time I have some trouble cannot solve by myself. I try to integrate file sharing with redmine authentication via mod_authen_mysql.
I 'm looking for tutorial and guideline to install mod_auth_mysql on CentOS and found this.
CentOS 6 Package Information
HowTo install mod_auth_mysql for apache
Both link Install module by simply type '**yum install mod_auth_mysql**' and I tried it.
After install module located at
and I tried to copy from that location to (Changed owner to daemon user)
also add load module command by
LoadModule mysql_auth_module modules/mod_auth_mysql.so
Finally try to restart server with command ./ctrlscript.sh restart apache. There 's one error.
Cannot load modules/mod_auth_mysql.so into server: /mnt/redmine/base/apache2/modules/mod_auth_mysql.so: undefined symbol: ap_requires
Could you explain me. What is incorrect ?
CentOS 6.5 X86_64
Redmine version 2.5.1.stable
Ruby version 1.9.3-p545 (2014-02-24) [x86_64-linux]
Rails version 3.2.17
Database adapter Mysql2
redmine_dmsf 1.4.8 stable
It seems that mod_auth_mysql is an old module that is no longer maintained and it's not compatible with Apache 2.4
I would suggest you to use other SQL authentication modules, such as mod_authn_dbd
Hope it helps!
