I want to install Docker on my AWS EC2 instance.
Please, can you guide me on the best way to do this?
I presume to run Docker I need an instance with a stack, therefore, I was thinking to download a Bitnami Lamp stack, in order to install Docker on the Lamp Stack I tried following this article --> https://docs.docker.com/engine/installation/linux/docker-ce/debian/#install-docker-ce-1
Is there not a Bitnami image that comes with Docker?
Once I have Docker I want to follow the steps to upload Zip file containing my Application Docker image and extract the file.
I also noticed Bitnami Lamp has a Docker container, how would I install Docker container without clicking the one-click install for the image?
I am used to deploying my VM with one click install from Bitnami that installs my application with the necessary infrastructure.
I don't understand how to install Docker container without having some infrastructure first? Do I need to have a Lamp instance before I can deploy any of the docker containers to the server?
