I just install bitnami Testlink1.9.9, but I can't reset password. It show me "Password Reset can not be done. Reason: Language string failed to load: tls"
How to fix up this problem.
We have tested it and we are not able to reproduce it; it is working fine for us. Could you tell us what are the SMTP settings you are using? Did you set them through the installer or manually?
I am running a Bitnami Testlink 1.9.11-0 stack on AWS using Ubuntu 14.04LTS. I get the same message when adding port 465 to the string "$g_smtp_host = 'smtp.gmail.com.br:465'; # SMTP server MUST BE configured". I have also tried using port 587 which give me an error of "language string failed to load tls"
Could you try with the following configuration options:
$g_smtp_host = 'smtp.gmail.com';$g_smtp_port = '465';
If this settings didn't work for you could you please share the SMTP settings you are using?
Thanks for your help, but found that my personal gmail account wasn't working, but the business gmail account worked fine. At this time I don't know what the difference is , but will let everyone know when I find out.

Gmail usually blocks access from locations that are not near the usual. You may have to change your privacy settings.
