My .htaccess is not working
i am unable to enable the .htaccess in AWS EC2
how to do it please
Anyone !!! need urgent help !!
You don't need to enable htaccess. All you have to do is include your settings inside the httpd-app.conf or htaccess.conf. These files are under /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/conf.
Hi @bulgaru i need little help. i am using the bitnami on EC2.Now i want to make a redirect from http://abc.com/folder to only http://abc.com.Mean when someone try to access the http://abc.com/folder or http://abc.com/folder/index.html it will redirect to just http://abc.com on HOMEPAGE.how can i make a redirect and put it into htaccess.conf thanks in advance
I think inside the app conf right after rewritebase should be something like:
RewriteRule ^subfolder/(.*)$ /$1 [R=301,L]
@bulgaru 1) Thank you soo much for reply but its not working 2) can u send me the default config text that is written in "htaccess.conf" like jetpack configration
Let me see if i understood your problem correctly.Your web app is accessible through prefix and you want it in the root of the domain, right?
the best way to get the default config file htaccess.conf is just launch a new instance just for a minutes and copy it.
