The MEAN stack for AWS declares PHP is included, but optional. Upon dropping a simple file with just a call to
htdocs and loading it up in a browser I get no PHP parser -- just the raw HTML.
/opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/httpd.conf I found that the
php5_module is commented out. Upon commenting that in I get an error that Apache would require a recompile, and it does not launch until I return the module status to what it had been set to originally.
What am I missing here? While the stack as advertised within AWS provides PHP, it doesn't seem to be available out of the box. I'm thinking there's a simple step I'm missing here -- any help you could share would be appreciated. I've dug around in the documentation and community posts and haven't turned up anything specific to this.
