I've got an old base, like about 2009 year. So the purpose is to move those important tables here, to bitnami redmine.
But the problem is the server I've got is far away from me, I can only use SSH, and no way to use phpmyadmin as long as it requires localhost (dunno what purpose in this).
I'm finally found the proper commands to backup and restore database:
mysqldump -h 127.0.0.1 -P 3307 -u root -ppassword bitnami_redmine > bitnami_redmine.sql
mysql -h 127.0.0.1 -P 3307 -u root -ppassword bitnami_redmine < redmine.sql
but when I login, I received an immediate error:
An error occurred on the page you were trying to access.
If you continue to experience problems please contact your Redmine administrator for assistance.
If you are the Redmine administrator, check your log files for details about the error.
So the questions are:
1. Where are these logs?
2. Is there anyway to up to date the database?
3. In a file: database.yml, I have found a curious line, that starts as: socket....
could you tell me please, how could I find the socket of mysql that located at 3306 port?
