How do I update my LAMP stack on aws

I have been using bitnami lamp stack for about a year now and i keep getting emails about updates from AWS. How do i carry out this update?

To update you need to launch a new Bitnami LAMP instance which always use the latest and most secure versions, and then migrate your application there:
