I am using Bitnami Parse Server 2.7.2-0. Working from within Android Studio 3. My Parse DB has +2.5 million records sitting in a table (addresses) which I am querying in AS. Server wise, only 1% of Inodes used and 10% of disk space used. My queries should be indexed seeing as how I'm using whereEqualTo (example. streetNumber, streetName) queries to check if an address currently exists (or not) in the DB. Everything was working fine up until one day ago. Now, when I run my script query by way of launching the AS emulator:
ParseRequest: Request failed. Waiting xxxx milliseconds before attempt #xxx
(then the above repeated three or four times...)
ParseRequest$ParseRequestException: i/o failure;
Caused by: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: timeout;
Caused by: java.net.SocketException: Socket closed
I've looked all over the net and cant seem to find any relevant help other than trying to run the Android AVD via localhost. I don't know why all of a sudden my queries won't run. (Although I can still write records to the DB, still...) I've even tried resetting my internet connection and relocating to other geographical locations, to no avail. Can anyone shed any light on why this is happening?
