But I don’t know how to do this upgrade. :frowning:

Hi @nanicunha,

To upgrade you need to launch the latest Bitnami WordPress Nginx version:

https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-s6cuqgfczpuwm

Then you can migrate the data from your existing site to the new one, this is fairly uncomplicated using the All in One migration plugin:

https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/how-to/migrate-wordpress/

After that you need to change the A record in your DNS configuration, and point it to the new instance IP. If you are using AWS Route 53, then you need to follow these steps:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/Route53/latest/DeveloperGuide/resource-record-sets-editing.html

If you are using another DNS provider and you don’t know please contact them for more information on how to do this.

Lastly you need to configure the domain on the new instance:

https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/apps/wordpress/administration/configure-domain/

And configure HTTPS using the bncert tool:

https://docs.bitnami.com/general/how-to/understand-bncert/

Best regards,
Michiel
