This is the default configuration:
- Apache server running in the 8080 port.
- Tomcat server is running through the AJP port: 8009 by default.
- Apache redirects all the requests to Tomcat server through the AJP port, except the requests that have "/phpmyadmin" in the URL.
So, if you want that Apache manages all the requests, you can disable the AJP connection that you can find in the apache-tomcat/conf/tomcat.conf file. If you have a PHP application running in "/myapp", I would suggest to create a similar rule that you can find for phpMyAdmin.
If do not want to have any connection, you can enable Tomcat to run in the 8080 port and Apache in the 8081 port. It is also necessary to disable the "tomcat.conf" file.
<Connector port="8080" URIEncoding="UTF-8" protocol="HTTP/1.1"
I hope it helps.
