Hello, everyone. I have set up Moodle on an existing server at our organization. This existing server is running IIS which is hosing our Wordpress page. The Moodle stack installed Apache2, (which is fine) and forced me to choose unused ports (81 & 444) for installation. I assume this was to avoid conflicts with the :80 port from our WordPress site.
Our internal website address is http://dhi-dashboard. I am able to access Moodle by the URL http://dhi-dashboard:81/moodle.
I'd like to access moodle by the URL http:// dhi-dashboard/moodle (or /training or /whateveriwant), but I do not want to have to add the port number in order to reach it.
I am not sure if I'm on the right track. I was messing around with Moodle's httpd-vhosts conf. file, and I was also tweaking Apache2's httpd.conf file. Nothing I tried seemed to work, or do anything for that matter. Please, let me know if I'm in the right place or if I'm way off the mark.
I have been scouring Google for an answer to this, but I keep getting answers like, change the port to 80, which would conflict with IIS, right?
