I’ve installed a bitnami ghost stack on lightsail and also configured a SSL.

How can I change the domain from localhost to my domain. I’ve tried multiple ways including ‘’ but nothing worked.

Can you please help me with this.

Thank You.

Hi @ShyamPhad,

Thanks for using Bitnami. I checked the configuration from the bnsupport bundle, and the Ghost application is configured to use the thefin*** domain, no t the one you mentioned in the title. Apart from that, the website seems to be working fine. Did you manage to fix your issue?

Hi Gongomgra,

Actually I’ve configured a SSL Certificate with the help of bncert tool with the help of this tutorial “”.

I’m still facing some problems as :-

  1. Images are not loading and when I inspected the page, the image source url was ‘localhost/content/images/2021/10/austin-distel-tLZhFRLj6nY-unsplash.jpg’ instead of my domain “https://thefinancialdiary/content/images/2021/10/austin-distel-tLZhFRLj6nY-unsplash.jpg

Thank You.

You can check the test post Here

Almost every link is pointed towards localhost instead of my domain.

Hi @ShyamPhad,

I’m afraid I don’t know how Ghost processes internally the configured domain. I also don’t know if you need to update any value in the database or the theme you are using. Can you ask in the official Ghost forums? I think someone with more experience using the application and how it works internally may be of help with this.
