I've ended all httpd pids and started new installation. Port used in new installation is 8080 but this is not the port that I had to browse to. After running netstat I saw that server is listening on 8069.
After visiting xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxx:8069 i was able to resolve odoo which is running OK on the specified machine.
Please note that Odoo is running on the port 8069 (except the Longpolling service which will be running on port 8072) but Apache is running in the port 8080. The connections should be done through Apache (port 8080) since Apache is the one who has the configuration to decide wether to redirect the web requests to the LongPolling or the BackGround-Worrker service of Odoo. Furthermore, Apache is the one who implements the multi-thread processing, so please use the port 8080 to connect Odoo.
In order to open a port (8080 or 8443) you can use the instructions below:
Another option would be to configure the original Apache Web Server (the one included in the WordPress Stack) so it ProxyPass certain requests to the second Apaache Web Server (the one includede in the Odoo Stack). In other words, you could have something like:
example.com -> ProxyPass to Second Stack
example.com/blog -> WP Site
This way, you won't need to open any port, you will be handling all the requests through the original port 80/443.
