On local pc in wndows when a site has been built using localhost where are the archive, sql and other files that can be FTP'd to a new host?

You can find all files inside the Bitnami installation directory that you've chosen.

Yes I get that but such files on local host will default to specific
folders in the relevant directory. Which ones?

Hi @ellgren,

The Bitnami WordPress installer asked you for an installation directory when running it. You can find all the WordPress', database's and web server's information inside that folder. You can learn more about this here:

I am struggling to find them for a site I built locally. That link you sent
only superficially assists at basic level but doesn’t tell me how to find
the files I seek

The files I seek must default to a structure that you know how to find

I know about the htdocs folder inside application directory but i want to
find the databases file and archive file for the local site I built

What string should I search under to find these files? This is important to
enable FTP migration because the files are too big for plugin transfer
based on Siteground limit

Please help

Hi @ellgren,

Could you give more details about the exact Wordpress files you are seeking? If you could share a list of filenames, I could tell you where you can find them in the Bitnami folder. In either case, you can find all MySQL files in INSTALLDIR/mysql and the Wordpress files in INSTALLDIR/apps/wordpress/
